Inventory
Read stock, reservations and movement history
On-hand, reserved and available figures are different; history is a recent view, not every movement ever made.
Step by step
- Open “Inventory” from the sidebar.
- Check location and product. The “Inventory” list shows on-hand stock. Reserved and Available appear only when pending reserved quantity is greater than zero; available=max(0,on-hand−reserved). In the detail check Current stock and recent movements. Reservations can exceed physical stock; public product cards use on-hand quantity, so Available is not a guaranteed hold.
- Selling price and cost here are the current product settings. When cost is recorded and selling price is positive, the margin percentage compares those two values; it is not the profit of historical sales and does not include other business expenses. Catalog price changes do not rewrite saved sale prices.
- Open View on desktop or tap the mobile card. Recent movements lists up to 20 newest entries; on a small screen scroll the table sideways to read every column: positive delta adds units and negative delta removes them. Initial, restock, manual adjustment, sale and sale return describe the actual recorded operation.
- The detail also lists up to 20 recent product-sale rows with customer, quantity and unit/total prices. Distinguish To collect, Completed and Voided; when reviewing a pending pickup, check its appointment in Calendar or “Product sales” before acting. A reservation is not evidence of paid stock removal.
- To receive new goods use Restock; to correct a count use Current stock as final total. Cancelling a paid sale returns its units, but cancelling an unpaid reservation has no movement. After an uncertain action, compare quantities and recent entries before repeating; contact support for missing history beyond this bounded view.
