Mía
Spam, cooldowns and blocked customers
Review automatic abuse blocking separately from exclusions and temporary flood protection.
Step by step
- Open “Settings” from the sidebar.
- As owner, select the location and open Settings → WhatsApp & Mía → “Automatic abuse blocking”. Check the current switch and blocked list before changing anything. A customer’s WhatsApp app block is a separate control.
- When automatic blocking is on, Mía can flag sexual content, repeated harassment or clear spam and stop replying to an actually blocked customer. Off-topic questions alone are redirected to business topics, not treated as abuse. This is not a guarantee against every attack.
- Turn the switch off if you want to decide customer blocks yourself. It saves on click: wait for confirmation and reload to verify. Turning it off does not automatically remove customers already blocked.
- Read the blocked customer’s identity and displayed reason. To restore an intentional Acomply block, press “Unblock”, wait for confirmation and check the list. Also review Settings exclusions and WhatsApp blocks; removing one does not remove the others.
- Many messages in a short time can trigger a temporary contact cooldown even when automatic abuse blocking is off. A large flood can pause Mía for the whole location and alert the owner. These protections are not the monthly notification allowance.
- After a flood, stop repeated test messages, inspect the alert and global Mía status, then resume only when wanted and safe. If saving or unblocking fails, reload before retrying; if silence continues, check plan, connection, exclusions and pauses or contact support with time and location.
Feature availability depends on your plan and permissions.
