Mía
Find, move, cancel or confirm an appointment with Mía
Mía uses the customer’s WhatsApp identity and saved appointments; checking a time does not create another visit.
Step by step
- Open “Settings” from the sidebar.
- Check the business/location and write from the WhatsApp identity used for the appointment. In Spanish the client can ask “¿A qué hora es mi cita?”. A phone number typed into a message does not prove ownership of another person’s appointment.
- Identify the exact appointment by date, time, service or professional. If several could match, answer Mía’s clarification before requesting a change. If not found, review whether it was booked through the web or another number; ask the owner to verify the saved record.
- To move it, state which appointment and the new day or time. Mía checks availability and preserves fields you did not ask to change. A request to cancel and replace that same visit can be handled as one move; a failed move leaves the original unchanged.
- To cancel, clearly name the visit. Saved cancellation rules may block a late request or later new bookings after repeated cancellations; they do not impose an automatic monetary fine. If blocked and help is needed, request owner contact rather than assuming it was cancelled.
- Attendance confirmation means saying you will attend an existing upcoming appointment, such as “Confirmo mi cita”. It does not create a new booking or mark the service completed. A cancelled or no-show appointment cannot be reactivated merely by confirming it.
- In effective link mode, Mía can look up, cancel or confirm existing appointments but cannot move them in chat. Public website or social chat has no private appointment tools; follow the real booking page and sign in where required.
- Wait for the action result, then check Calendar or History in the correct location. If uncertain, keep the original record and contact support with the appointment and requested change; message acceptance or delivery alone does not prove the appointment changed.
Feature availability depends on your plan and permissions.
