Let Mía assign a professional by availability

Choose whether a client without a preference selects a professional or just an available time.

Step by step

1. Open “Settings” from the sidebar.
2. As owner, check the location and customer Mía access. In Settings → “WhatsApp & Mía”, find “How Mía books”. Use chat booking; this setting is hidden when published link mode is effective.
3. Find “Assign professional by availability”. Turn it on to search eligible professionals when the client has no preference; turn it off to ask the client which professional they prefer when several work.
4. The switch saves on click. Wait for confirmation, reload the section and check its saved state. There is no separate Save button for this switch; selecting a different booking mode does not save this preference for you.
5. Review active team, assigned services, shifts and closures. Mía can assign only someone eligible and available for the complete service duration. A client who names a professional keeps that preference; this switch does not transfer existing appointments.
6. In a controlled new-booking conversation, distinguish a no-preference request from a named professional. Ask for availability first if you only want to inspect options; an actual booking request can create a real appointment. Verify any saved result in Calendar.
7. If saving fails, reload before retrying and confirm which option persisted. If no eligible times appear, fix services, shifts or closures instead of adding duplicate professionals. To revert, switch off and wait for confirmation.
