Example: a visit every Friday at 3 p.m.

Set up a routine and check the appointments actually created, then change or cancel the plan carefully.

Step by step

  1. Open “Clients” from the sidebar.
  2. Fictional case: Alex wants a 30-minute care session with Sam every Friday at 3:00 p.m. Alex, Sam and the service are examples, not records in your business. Use the details of the person who actually requests the plan; do not create profiles to reproduce this example.
  3. As owner, check the active location, open Clients and the correct profile. Before choosing the time, check that the professional and service are active, that the professional provides that service and that its actual duration fits their Friday shift. Also review closures and existing appointments.
  4. In “Recurring plan”, if there is no active plan, open “Create recurring plan”. Choose the actual professional and service, Friday, 3:00 p.m. and “Every week” for this case. Check each field and press “Create plan” once. If a plan already exists, open “Edit plan” instead of creating another.
  5. Saving attempts to prepare the next eight weeks; it does not guarantee eight appointments. Example result: if it says 6 created and 2 skipped due to conflicts, there are six new appointments, not eight. “Every two weeks” and “Every four weeks” produce fewer dates; four weeks is not the same day of each calendar month.
  6. Reopen the profile and check the saved service, professional, Friday and time. Then open Calendar in the same location, move through the weeks and note the dates that actually exist, including the next visit. “Scheduled until” does not prove every week has an appointment. Agree with the customer what to do about skipped dates.
  7. If Alex changes from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., use “Edit plan”, change the time and save. The plan’s appointments after today are prepared again; today’s appointment keeps its time. Check the new dates and any conflicts. A week of the plan cancelled by a person is not automatically restored by editing it.
  8. If a warning says the plan was updated but new appointments will be scheduled later, check both the plan and Calendar before repeating: it may be saved without all new appointments. If asked to notify the customer, tell them the verified dates yourself. Changing only the service does not send that notice; saving does not prove a message was received.
  9. To stop the routine, read “Cancel plan”: it deactivates the plan and cancels its pending appointments from today, including one today. After confirming, check the profile and Calendar. “Create recurring plan” returning or a blank form does not mean all appointments were cancelled. After a failure, verify both before repeating. A new plan requires filling the fields again; do not create it to repair an uncertain result.

Feature availability depends on your plan and permissions.
