First day: prepare your business and check the first booking

Follow this checklist in the correct location, from details and hours to the public link and a real booking. WhatsApp is optional according to your plan.

Step by step

  1. Open “Settings” from the sidebar.
  2. Sign in with your owner account and check the business name and active location. If a location selector appears, select the correct one, wait for the reload and check the name again before changing data.
  3. In “Business” → Business details, use Edit to review the name, address, phone and map. Save and reopen the group: fields save separately, so an error may leave partial changes.
  4. Review Hours: opening, closing, closed days and the business timezone. Save and check the values again. Use the location’s timezone even if your phone is elsewhere; general opening hours do not guarantee a free slot.
  5. Open “Services” from the sidebar or “More” on small screens. Create or review at least one active service with the correct name, price and duration; save and open its details to check.
  6. In the team section—its name depends on your business—check an active professional and the services they provide. Save assignments and reopen the profile. Check the plan limit when adding someone; creating a profile does not grant dashboard access.
  7. Open “Hours” from the sidebar or “More”. Set the professional’s days and time ranges; a break needs separate ranges. Save that card and reopen it. The full appointment must fit the hours and respect closures and conflicts.
  8. In Business → Your locations, review readiness and publication. For a draft, resolve pending steps and use Publish site when enabled; then check the status. Creating another location requires Élite. Publishing does not activate Mía or guarantee every time slot.
  9. Find “So your customers can book” for this location’s current link and QR. Open the link and check the business, service, professional and a future date without confirming a test booking. Share the customer link; team access has a different destination.
  10. Optional: with Maestro or Élite, review “WhatsApp & Mía” to connect your WhatsApp and use Mía. Check the number, pending setup and pause status before relying on her. Public booking and official confirmation are separate from this connection.
  11. When you have an agreed real booking, open “New appointment”. Choose customer, professional, service, future date and time; leave Service already performed unchecked. Create recurring plan is for repeat visits from the customer profile, not one appointment.
  12. Save once and wait. Open the saved appointment in “History” or “Calendar” and check customer, service, professional, date, time and status. The saved record confirms the booking; an alert or WhatsApp alone does not confirm all those details.
  13. The saved booking and customer notification are separate outcomes. Contact details, allowance and channel availability can prevent a notice. Sent does not prove delivered or read. If a message is missing, check the booking and arrange notice with the person; do not create it again. Review reminders and owner alerts in Notifications.
  14. If a service or time is missing, reread the catalog, assignments, shifts and closures. After an uncertain save, reopen the data or find the booking before retrying. If blocked, ask for help with location, screen and notice. Finish with checked details, the correct link and, if a real booking was made, its verified record.

Feature availability depends on your plan and permissions.
