Calendar & appointments
Close the business for time off
Calendar closures block new bookings and show affected appointments.
Step by step
- Open “Calendar” from the sidebar.
- As owner, open “Close business” in Calendar. Select From and Through, both inclusive; use the same date for one day. The reason is internal and is not published.
- Choose “Block dates” and read any confirmation about affected appointments. Then check the date range in the saved-closures list. A failed appointment check does not prove the range is clear or that the closure failed.
- Check dates in the saved-closures list and the automatic public notice. The closure blocks new bookings on those days; it does not cancel or move existing appointments, whose reminders may remain active.
- On the saved closure, open “Notify and review appointments”. Review the public notice and “Appointments during the closure”. Use “Manage appointment” for each appointment; if the list does not show all of them, open “View calendar” and check the closure dates.
- If the notice or appointment check could not load, use “Retry”. An unloaded list does not mean there are no appointments. Before saving again, check whether the closure already appears in the list.
- Use “Share notice” to open the device’s share function or “Copy message” to copy the text. If sharing is unavailable, “Open WhatsApp” may be offered. If copying fails, open “View message” and select the text. You choose recipients and confirm sending in your app; these actions do not prove sending or delivery.
- To reopen earlier, use the saved range’s reopening action and confirm. Check that the closure disappears; available slots still depend on working hours and existing bookings.
Feature availability depends on your plan and permissions.
